I offer a safe and responsive space to reflect on life - it's joys and snags -and help people find unique ways to address their life issues and psychiatric problems. My background enables us to work from multiple standpoints, and to tailor our work to best meet your needs and goals. My training is grounded in psychodynamic theory; however, I also incorporate narrative and relational techniques, Dialect Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practice into our work. At times, the work can be more directive in order to build a foundation of healthy coping skills or to help people move through specific life obstacles. Other times our work requires the courage to reflect on whatever presents itself.
