The Providence Program provides evaluation and intensive treatment for adults and adolescents with anorexia, bulimia and atypical eating disorders.

Treating eating disorders since 1985

The group based program extends between 9-10 hours daily, Monday through Friday. Program staff use patient-centered approaches to help individuals and their family members make behavior changes related to eating symptoms, communication and coping skills. The multidisciplinary team consists of a psychiatrist, dietitian and masters level therapists from multiple counseling disciplines. The program incorporates DBT, CBT and family systems theories as well as motivational interviewing approaches to help individuals move toward recovery and personal change. Short term goals focus on symptom stabilization with referral to outpatient providers in the community.
