Treating eating disorders since 2001

I am a licensed clinical social worker in private practice, working with children, adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders and/or trauma. Treatment options include individual therapy, support groups, family sessions, couples support and education.
Treatment is tailored to the client's needs. I often participate in a team approach with local nutritionists, primary doctors and psychiatrists for a comprehensive treatment plan.
Interventions come from an eclectic model often incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, experiential activities and trauma treatment. EMDR is a treatment option for some clients.
Co-existing issues are also addressed. They may include depression, loss, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, women's issues and other concerns.
