I offer individual and group therapy with male and female adolescents (over 16) and adults with eating disorders and obesity, and work as part of a team.

Treating eating disorders since 1981

I have a full-time private practice, with specialties in the treatment of eating disorders and obesity, and the treatment of people with histories of sexual abuse and other traumas. My primary therapeutic orientation is analytic self-psychology, but in working with eating disorders, I draw from other approaches as well, including CBT, DBT, and expressive therapies such as journaling. I am a certified psychodramatist as well as a clinical psychologist, and I use psychodrama techniques in my therapy groups and sometimes in individual therapy as well. Since I am currently on advanced candidate, I offer psychoanalysis (at a reduced rate) and would be glad to discuss this option further if anyone is interested.
