Treating eating disorders since 1989

I have been in private practice in Seattle since moving here in 1994. I practice individual psychotherapy with an engaged and interactive style and a cognitive-behavioral approach, working with clients to both understand the function of their eating disordered behaviors as well as actively working on developing more effective coping skills, improved emotional regulation, and symptom cessation. Since 1995, I've supervised the facilitation of a support group led by women I've trained in a discussion topic-driven format. I help clients with the development of simple,liveable,food plans and also refer frequently to excellent nutritionists who specialize in the field of eating disorders.
