In my private practice I work with adolescents and adults, male and female, who struggle with Eating Disorders. Residential referrals also available.

Treating eating disorders since 1997

I believe in the uniqueness of each individual. Of utmost importance in my practice is for the client to feel safe, nonjudged,understood and respected.

My approach is to use both cognitive-behavioral and insight oriented therapy. It is important to develop hands on "tools" to start feeling better immediately but it can also be beneficial to understand why one feels the way they do to facilitate healing.

I am closely affiliated with numerous residential programs throughout the country. I am also trained as an Addictions Counselor which often is useful in understanding Eating Disorders.

I have over ten years experience in counseling and am a Board Member of the Illinois Mental Health Counselors Association. I have also served as a supervisor for students and other clinicians.
