The buttocks, in this case, women’s buttocks, have always been seen as a symbol of beauty, sensuality, and even fertility. Several artistic representations speak volumes on the subject. They depict and interpret feminine beauty through the multiple forms of buttocks that can exist. There are specific types of buttocks for each type of buttocks. Here is what the shape of your butt reveals about your morphology.
Our asses: we can’t talk about it enough!
The buttocks refer to the area behind the hip, between the trunk and the birth of the lower limbs. They are two fleshy masses that are both rounded and protruding. They include several gluteal muscles that connect the pelvis to the femur: the gluteus maximus, gluteus medius, and gluteus minimus, forming the largest and most powerful muscle mass in our body. Its function: to allow and support walking.
The buttocks are mainly made up of slowly and rapidly contracting fat tissue and muscle fibers. In general, women have rounder and more prominent buttock shapes than men. Each pair of buttocks has quite specific morphological features. The shape of their padding makes sitting easier but is also of particular interest to men.
Why are there different butt shapes?
Some women don’t hide from it, others prefer not to talk about it openly, but what’s pretty sure is that all of them pay special attention to the shape of the buttocks they have. The morphology of the buttocks differs between the sexes. Some are very flat, soft, or padded. Some African populations have female buttocks that give the female gender wide and rounded buttocks. This is due to the excessive development of localized fat tissue in the posterior area.
The perception of the beauty of the buttocks is often influenced by geographical, cultural, ethnic, and demographic factors. According to a scientific study conducted in the United States, there is a proven relationship between age, gender, ethnicity, country of residence, and the definition of the “ideal” female buttock. For example, Latin American plastic surgeons prefer the widest buttocks, followed by their Asian counterparts. In contrast, surgeons in North America and Europe will prefer larger buttocks.
There is also a correlation between buttock shape and genetics. The morphology of the buttocks is genetically determined by the size and structure of the pelvic and hip bones. The pelvises of different types of buttocks are all different. As a result, the nature of your lumbar arch will affect the shape of the buttocks you have. Also, the amount of muscle mass inherited in the pelvis and buttocks varies from one woman to another. All these stereotypes make it easy to visualize the appearance of the buttocks: square, round, A, V, or H.

Ultra-feminine and very desirable, it is identified by a remarkable harmony between the hips and the failing kidneys.
Heart-shaped butts
This is the shape of the female buttocks, also called pear-shaped buttocks. It is particularly considered to be the most voluptuous. The harmonious symmetry of the heart-shaped buttocks also ranks it among the broad buttocks. Closer to the round buttocks, they project less to the rear but compensate for its advantages with wide hips. This places it in a good position among the very hot buttocks.
The H-shaped buttocks are a rather masculine shape. They are characterized by little or no hips. The silhouette of these types of buttocks can appear athletic, slightly round, or slender. It is also possible that this type of buttock retains some aspect of the curvature on the back.
The inverted-shaped butts
This shape of buttocks is considered the least attractive. Women who have it see it as a source of discomfort and complex. Indeed, in this case, the buttocks give the impression of being flabby and sluggish. They are not very developed and show pockets of fat on the waist, which gives them an unsightly shape.
The square buttocks are devoid of roundness and a certain harmony on the edges. Women with square buttocks have very pronounced and short hips. The pelvis is less generous on long, straight gluteal muscles, giving a square shape from one end of the buttocks to the other.
